The Journey from Force to Flow
For over fourteen years, I've been on a relentless pursuit to understand one fundamental question:
Why do smart, capable, well-intentioned people, many who are “doing everything right”, make decisions that sabotage their own success?
That question became deeply personal when I looked back at my own life and saw a pattern I could no longer ignore.
By my early 40s, I had been involved in over 750 real estate transactions, owned multiple apartment complexes, and built seven different profitable businesses. On paper, I was successful.
In reality, I was a master of unconscious self-sabotage.
Every time money started flowing, every time momentum kicked in, every time I stood on the edge of real expansion, I'd find a way to destroy it. Not obviously. Not intentionally. But consistently enough that I finally had to ask:
What is actually driving my decisions?
The Hidden Programming
Growing up in a household where my parents fought constantly about money—first about not having it, then oddly about having it—I had unconsciously absorbed a belief system that wealth and integrity couldn't coexist…
that financial success created chaos…
and that becoming “successful” meant becoming someone I didn’t want to be.
By age eight, I had made silent decisions about money, success, and what kind of person I would allow myself to become. These weren't conscious choices. They were the invisible programming that would run my life for decades to come.
I didn't realize that the beliefs we form before age eight become the operating system for the rest of our lives—unless we consciously rewrite them.
The Addiction to Distortion
My unconscious patterns didn’t just affect money.
In my 20s and early 30s, I struggled with addictions to alcohol, prescription drugs, nicotine, and food. At 32 I was 38% body fat, chemically dependent, and living a life completely out of alignment with who I knew I could become.
Then everything changed.
In 2011, I quit alcohol—no AA, no rehab, just a decision.
In 2012, I lost 60 pounds, dropping from 38% to 8% body fat.
Today, I maintain 10% body fat and am in the best shape of my life.
But the physical changes were not the real breakthrough.
The real breakthrough was recognizing that every addiction—to substances, to chaos, to self-sabotage—is simply a symptom of disconnection from truth.
The Discovery That Changed Everything
Around this time, I discovered the work of Dr. David Hawkins and his Map of Consciousness.
For the first time, I encountered a framework that didn’t just discuss consciousness…
it measured it.
It revealed truth in real time.
I learned that truth isn't subjective. It's not a belief system or philosophy.
Truth is a frequency that can be tested, verified, and measured through the body's natural connection to what Hawkins called the Field of Consciousness—the same universal intelligence that Einstein called the Unified Field, Tesla described as energy, frequency, and vibration, and Napoleon Hill referred to as the Ether.
This wasn’t new-age theory.
This was repeatable, demonstrable, and had been validated millions of times across cultures, backgrounds, and belief systems.
And I realized: If I could test truth in my own life, I could help others test truth in their businesses.
From Personal Breakthrough to Business Framework
I started to use this consciousness-based testing approach to rebuild my relationship with money and purpose, and to show up differently in every relationship.
I stopped operating from force.
I started moving from flow.
I stopped chasing what looked successful and started choosing what was actually aligned.
The results were undeniable.
Not just in my life, but in the lives of everyone I shared this process with.
That’s when it became clear:

Beyond Business
I live just outside Chicago with my best friend and bride of 20 years, Jen, our incredible teenage twins, and our 5-pound dog Ruby.
I’m passionate about functional medicine with natural options, biohacking, and proactive health. Aside from healing a torn rotator cuff with a PRP injection (my own blood) — choosing alignment over the shoulder surgery multiple doctors recommended after reviewing my MRI — I haven’t seen a traditional doctor in over a decade. And that shoulder is stronger than ever, more than five years later.
I believe in treating the body as the intelligent system it is, not simply managing symptoms.
I’m committed to personal development not for achievement’s sake, but because I believe each of us has a responsibility to become the most aligned, clear, and powerful version of ourselves possible —
